The House of Waine was originally a family house up until 2004 when the family decided to convert it into this family owned and run hotel. The ambience is that of a family household which is apparent as soon as you arrive in this charming lodging.

Accommodation & Facilities

All 11 rooms are en-suite, 9 of which have a separate bath and shower. Each of the rooms are uniquely decorated with vast amounts of timeless furniture.  Each of the rooms offers breath-taking vistas over the gardens and the surrounding areas.

The House of Waine boasts many facilities including two exclusive bars (the main bar and poolside bar), a heated swimming pool as well as two meeting rooms which are available for private use.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel and all of the rooms, there is also a same day laundry service.

Dining

There is a set menu served at lunch and dinner which allows the guests to choose from two dishes for each course. The cuisine is different each day and meals can be served in a multitude of locations making each mealtime unique.

Activities

The surrounding areas of this hotel are teeming with activities; from hand feeding the giraffes at The Giraffe Centre and spotting the big 5 at The Nairobi National Park, or take a visit to The Matbronze Art Gallery and take part in a workshop with Kazuri Beads.

Child Policy

Children are very welcome at the House of Waine, with cots available on request and two of the rooms can be interconnected which is perfect for a young family.
